Protecting The Environment

As a leading player in the industry, we fully recognize our responsibility to be stewards of a greener environment. We’re proud to have instituted a company-wide program of environmental awareness and sustainability. The pillars of that program include:

• Equipment and Process. New and efficient technologies reduce or eliminate the need for hazardous chemicals in our manufacturing operations.
• Stewardship and Certifications. We’re active with two major certification programs: the Forest Stewardship Council and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
• Energy and Conservation. We continually look for ways to reduce energy, conserve natural resources, and recycle or eliminate waste.
• Innovation and Alternatives. Working together with our customers, we’ve developed products and processes that contribute to resource conservation.
